Ibuprofen 400mgms.
Oh numnut1. Just want to say I hope she feels better soon and the pain subsides. Xx
this is usually the bruising and not actually the fracture itself!

does she have the plaster to the armpit or just to the elbow?

if she is still in so much pain tomorrow, tell them in fracture clinic and they recommend pain relief and change the style of plaster if necessary!

hope she feels better soon x

hi thanks for your replies ibuprofen seems to be taking the edge off, she has plaster up to elbow at fracture clinic tomorrow once again thanks xx
Whatever you give her don't be tempted to give more than the recomended dose.
Take her to your doctors for a prescription. When I broke mine, I was given piddling co-codomol, which didn't even touch the pain. My doctor prescribed more powerful ones which helped more.
