Hi sqad, Just another bit of advice please. Whats your opinion on Atypical Facial Pain? As you know my daughter had Sinusitis, been told know thats gone and left the above!. Have been told perhaps a small dose of anti depression medication could help as its used for chronic pain, if that is the case would any herbal tablets (Calms etc) do the same thing? So frustrating seem to be going round in circles. By the way the blood test came back all fine, but that flu like system in the run up to all this knocked her for six. Still feeling very dizzy. Can you help please. Thankyou

Eastender....Atypical facial pain is a well known medical entity which in many ways resembles migraine or trigeminal neuralgia. It is basically a diagnosis based on exclusion and is very difficult to treat.
Anti depressants do play a part based on their ability to relieve nerve pain and also based on ATFP being psychosomatic in origin.

In all honesty, the cause is unknown.

Google the condition and get back to me if you have any queries.
