About 6 months ago I was out and somebody stood on my toe in a stiletto, after this half of my toenail turned white and was painful for a long time. I thought it would wear off & the pain mainly has but part of the nail is still white, no matter how much it grows/get trimmed etc and it still hurts if you press on it and it a little raised where it's white. Just wondering if there's anything I can do about it/ if it will ever return to normal?! I always have to keep my toenails painted now as it looks horrible! Mainly wondered because I wore some shoes yesterday that were a tiny bit tight and whilst one foot was fine, because of this weird toenail my other was soo sore! Thanks =]

I have had same problem mermaid & was advised by my husband's chiropodist to put Tea Tree Oil under the nails with cotton wool ( I use cotton buds) & to use an emery board to file nails regularly, this is certainly working takes time but be patient & were sandals if possible.
