Bone marrow biopsy normal, awaiting scan.
Could there possibly be a connection to the bad bout of Reiter's Syndrome I had over 30 years ago?

Am taking dissoluble aspirin until a diagnosis is made.

I am lost I'm afraid, as presumably you have posted a thread that I have missed.

Just guessing, you being investigated for a high blood platelet count, is that the situation?

Yes, it is.
Found during a routine blood test - count over 700, whatever that means.
OK....marrow normal...that excludes the majority of "nasties" but to directly answer you question, I can see no association between a high platelet count and Reiter's Syndrome.

The hunt for a cause of your high platelet count must go on.

Keep us informed.
