My daughter is now 6 and I usually use the Loreal kids stuff but today she liked the smell of mine. Would it harm her hair if I used normal stuff on it?

Dont think its about harming her hair.kids shampoo doesnt sting the eyes
No - my two girls loved Pantene at that age,
I use grown-up shampoo and conditioner on my daughters' hair (5 and 2) - it would be like rat's tails otherwise.
I have always used normal hair shampoo , I think kids shampoo a bit like kids toothpaste is a bit of a gimmick.
They never had kids' shampoo when I (and probably you) was young. In fact, I remember a friend whose mum used washing up liquid on her hair cos they couldn't afford shampoo. Never did any of us any harm - just watch it doesn't get in her eyes.
