Has anyone tried this so called miracle product and if so, what did you think? Were the results as amazing as the company claims or just another empty marketing hype?

Thanks

Hi V....lovely to hear of you - how's Tich? Hope he's growing into a strong fit healthy boy. Hope Tich has taught you more of motherhood and have you considering giving him a sibling?

Creme De La Mer....had a free sample - felt silky on application but still left me my dry patch next day. Nivea does just as well. Xmas wishes to you & Tich, x
Hello Velvetee, yes about 4 years ago, when I was in Harrods whilst visiting London, I fell for the sales patter and bought the smallest pot I think it was the 30ml size, paying about £80 for the priviledge of doing so. The blurb sheet with the product, claims that the cream was invented to treat burn scarring, but the inventors also discovered that it had miraculous results on standard skin types and created Creme De La Mar for the general public.
The cream itself is extremely heavy and thick like whipped cream and you are supposed to take a tiny amount and rub it between your hands and then pat it onto your face. I followed these instructions and put the cream on, but as the days went on the only thing it did was to make my skin very shiny and increasingly greasy looking. I then stopped using the cream and took it into my local beauticans to have a look at as they were curious about the product. When my beautician looked at the ingrediants she was shocked. It contained mineral oil, which according to her was the nastiest cheapest product that any manufacturer can use to make up a cream! After that the cream sat in my drawer unused and may have got thrown away.
To be honest I would not recommend anyone paying this type of price for a product that does not seem to work and has very cheap ingredients!
Cheers, happy Christmas!
Sue
