I am 31 and took the combined pill for 12 years before coming off it 18 months ago. Since then my skin and hair have become greasier and I continuously get spots, particularly on my jaw line. Plus I seem to be acquiring more and more facial hair ... although this could be to do with getting older I guess. Is this all normal? Is there anything I can do to help? Thank you

I noticed many years ago when I started the pill I had no more spots and my hair didn't need washing so often, when I stopped the pill the occasional spot came back and my hair wasn't so dry. I switched to cleansing my face with cream instead of soap and the spots stopped completely. Our bodies are regulated by hormones so any change causes all these differences.
