Wonder if anybody could recommend anything for my face because it's really starting to get to me : (
Basically, you know the really tight feeling you get when you wash your face in soap? Well for the last week or two my skin feels like this ALL the time - no matter what I wash it with or how much moisturiser I use. The skin under my eyes is probably the worst bit ; the skin is so tight and scaly / cracked looking which apart from being uncomfortable, looks very aging. My lips have totally dried up and cracked too.
Hadn't changed any of my products before this started but I've switched now to Simple and the Boots Expert sensitive range. I've also got quite open pores on my cheeks and although they still feel tight , they are getting blocked with a few blackheads.
Sorry for the lomg moan.Any tips or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hi I have had really bad skin on my face too. Was advised by my doctor not to waste money on expensive creams. At the chemist you can get a big tub of Aquaseos for abour 2 pound it is a water based one and really good. There is also a smaller pink one which contains calomile and it worked wonders on my face, thats about 99p - 1. I definatley know Co-op chemists sell it because thats were I bought it from. Pink one is best for your face.
Hi yin, E45 cream. Use it neat before bed on clean skin. If you wash in the morning you can make it lighter to wear by thinning it in the hand with a little water. It's excellant! xxx

Thanks guys. Is it ok to use these creams round the eyes too?
It's costly, but having a good salon treatment every month can help greatly. The therapist can probably advise you on suitable products for your skin type.

Always try to use a moisturiser, which contains a SPF sunscreen.
I would agree with the first answer, i found the pink one good
dont use soap or water on your face....only wipes (Johnson baby wipes). Put make up on top and clean off with same.
Hi yin, E45 is o.k round the eyes xxx
you could use vaseline too. put some on over night so then it can sink in and put moisturiser on after a shower or bath because pores open more then and can sink in to your skin. to save you buying loads of pocket sized vaseline's, i have a tub of petroleum jelly. a BIG tub!
