I have been considering having this - the eyeliner. Has anyone got any experience of this. At the salon they claim it will last 2-3 years and it cost 350.00.

If it lasts a couple of years and looks good, this seems a reasonable price - on the other hand if it only last a few months and looks dreadful on anyone over the age of 25, it doesn't seem such a good idea

thanks in advance for any information

Hi, I've had semi-permanent eyeliner on my upper lids, so far it's lasted four years and I really don't like it. It makes my eyes look smaller. If you look at before and after pictures of people who have had it done on their upper lids they all look worse AFTER. I wish I'd looked at the photos beforehand. Also it REALLY hurts and I had to take anti-histamine tablets to help the swelling go down afterwards.
I wouldn't Rubes.

If you want some definition around there then I recommend eye lash tinting. I used to swim a lot (water proof mascara is a farce!) so I my lashes tinted so I could go after work without ending up looking like a panda in the rain after my swim and as a bonus they did give a sort of line to my eyes too.
I've never heard of that, but I know someone who had their eyebrows tattooed on and it looked awful!

I think China Doll offers good advice in the eye lash tinting! I've been thinking of getting it done cos everyone I know who's had it done looks great! Plus it's not as permanent, if you didn't like it.
Some sound ideas there - but what's wrong with ordinary eyeliner Ruby? Kohl pencils are easy to apply, and at least you can change colours if you get fed up of the same old one. x
