Can anyone recommend a moisturising, facial sunscreen that won't turn my face chalky, purply grey?

I'm looking for a high SPF but not one that makes me look half dead.

The Clarins ones are quite good.

I did buy a Clinique one but it's awful. I'll have a look at Clarins, thank you, 237.
Marie Claire definitely isn't my usual reading matter but this looks as if it might be relevant to your question:

Thank you, Chris. I have looked at the Marie Claire link but The Independent wont let me in. Nevertheless, there are some good ones on Marie Claire. Ta.
I had the same problem as you. I’ve tried a few different brands but I now use La Roche-Posay 50+, Anti-shine which was recommended by a friend. It’s quite expensive but I find it works well.
I don't mean to be stupid but what's wrong with normal sunscreen?
Dermatologists mostly agree that buying a product with a SPF over 30 is a waste of money. A product with an SPF of 30 blocks around 96% of the sun's rays, and anything higher than 30 is only marginally better. But I guess if buying the higher SPF product make you feel better then do it.
This gets very good reviews in Vogueof last year and is lightly tinted.

See Aldi's sunscreen range, highly recommended

To answer you question, Ummmm. I am looking for a moisturiser that I can safely use on my face which is not going to irritate my eyes as most of them do.
Question Author
Having looked at all the suggestions, I am going to go for the La Roche-Posay 50+. It states that it in non-stinging.

Thank you all for the help.
Hope you don't get stung
