Hi! Can anyone advise me which is the best value for money leave-in-hair conditioner, which wont leave my hair too heavy or sticky and will give me some volume. I used to buy Clairol Daily Defense leave-in-conditioning spray but I cant seem to find it in any of the Chemists or Supermarkets.  I dont mind paying that little bit extra if it does, what it says it does, my hair is layered to my shoulder and is normal hair type.  Thank You for any replies.   :-)

avon leave in hair conditioner, only need a tiny amount on the palm of your hand, costs about 2.50 for a bottle and lasts ages. Last time i bought it, was half price, so got several bottles. If you havent got an agent buy it online, just type in avon.

I use Sunsilk Aqua Proteins "super light mist conditioner".  It comes in a bottle with a spray gun - like Mr Muscle cleaning fluid but a clear bottle!  It's for hair that gets greasy too quickly.  You only use it on the ends but it's very good stuff.  I don't know where to buy it from though as my mum bought it for me for Xmas and I still have plenty l left despite using it every day.  The bottle is 250ml.

Another good one is the Boots own coconut one (if they still make it).

My hairdresser said you should use leave-in every day, even on the days when you've conditoned in the shower/bath.

Oh, and I just use a mousse when I want volume.

My hair is the same as yours really.  Same cut, and pretty normal.  Needs washing most days (but apparently I could train it not to need that much washing!)

Hope this helps to some extent.

i use Aussie miracle mist leave in conditioner, a bit on the pricey side 4.99, very good though.

The very best one i used was Aveda Amphipure Lightweight super conditioner, but it was 19 and my mum got it in new york!

ok this one may seem bizarre but use an egg yolk, beat it lightly, make sure there is not white in it. rub into your hair as usual and leave for a few minutes and rinse out, fantastic. The egg white can either be used to make meringues or put in a drop or two of your fav essential oil and use as a face mask.
Dove leave in conditioner spray is only 1.99 and is not sticky at all, I use it everyday and definitely stops my hair getting too dry.
I really like Superdrug's own coconut leave-in. It only costs a couple of quid for a big tub, and is light enough to use several times a week. Leaves your hair smelling yummy too.
Vitapoint - v. good, in a wee tube!

The Herbal Essences spray leave-in conditioner is very good. My hair is quite fine and it doesn't leave it heavy or sticky. It also smells really good.

Hi. I use Aussie live in conditioner. Its great and it has a gorgeous smell to it. Also now and then I cover my hair in  normal wash out conditioner and then wrap my head in cling film and leave it for about 15. Read about it in a hair magazine and afterward my hair always feels nice and smooth.

WOW!! I'm spoilt for choice, I will give some a try to see if it suits my hair, as it reacts with some products.  I once used baby shampoo and my hair went like straw!! which amased me as you cant get gentler than baby products. Thank You all for giving me some ideas I do appreciate your help.

Best Wishes   catwoman.   :-)
