Try this fruitsalad, it's excellent.
Sorry, forgot to add, you can get it in Boot's, Superdrug etc.
My mum used gravy browning during WW2, but the big disadvantage of this is that dogs tend to lick your legs!

I think the other trick was potassium permanganate solution. I know you can buy the chemical easily, but I'm not too sure of the proportion. Just experiment, I guess.

not a fan of fake tan fried will give it a try rocky is it similar to a fake tan??
tks rockyracoon, I'll try this, you don't live in the black mountain hills of dakota do you?
Potassium permanganate really? - from school chemistry I thought that was purple!
l'oreal mineral foundation works wonders, or any mineral make up is good.
Prudie, you took the words out of my mouth, I thought it was purple.

Fruity, it's not a fake tan, it washes off with a good dollop of soap and warm water, it goes on in a spray mist type thing and dries quite quicky, it's also easy to blend. My mum has started using it and her veins are quite bad, I think they do about 3 different shades.

No suechu, nothing so grand, I live on a hill in suburban Essex.

OK Rockyracoon, have to ask then if your online name is connected to this Beatles song: http://www.lyricsfrea...raccoon_10026101.html

thanks rocky
Get a bottle of Witch Hazel, dab it on with cotton wool.

You can buy stuff called Veins away, it is a nice moisturising cream but some people find it doesn't really work.

My last girlfriend was always paranoid about her legs, I'm a "legs man" and after the Witch Hazel I couldn't see a problem :o)
Suechu, no i's not, though I have been asked a few times, I got it from a character in a book that I read. Sorry to hijack fruity.
oops yeh sorry fruitsalad, my beatles obsession would not be baulked
Prudie & Rocky - yes it is purple, but when the solution oxidises with air it does in fact turn brown on the skin. Strange but true.
Kiki, is it used to treat athletes foot, I'm sure my mum used stick my brothers feet in bowls of this.
