Advice on starting out as a beauty therapist

I am looking for some advice on starting out as a beauty therapist? I have been looking at a few courses at college such as Nail, eyelash extensions, and tanning courses, does this sound like a step in the right direction? I dont want to to do a full time course as i am not eligible for funding.

How about looking into natural beauty products that you can make yourself?
For example masks made from fruits and veg that would benefit the skin of the client.
