Has anybody sent for the free trials. Do they work and are you bombarded with phone calls and emails after you have filled out your details. In other words - what is the catch?

Dunno. I previously signed up for the Revitalift trial and all I've got from it were a couple of other free samples in the post - so no catch there. I can't actually get onto either of the free trial links for these 2. It just comes up 'Error, there was a problem processing your request' with both of them.
I didn't send for my "free trial" after I read the fine print. You get a full 30-day size for the £5.95 shipping fee. But you have to return it within 10 days (or 14, I forgot which) or they will automatically take out the full payment for the product, which is a staggering £74 or thereabouts. And then automatically deduct that amount every month and they keep sending you a "one month supply" every month for that same price (around £74). And this was just for the Perfect Radiance product! Ripoff tactics. I would hardly call this a free sample. Once they've got your credit/debit card details, you can kiss your money goodbye.
I ordered the 'free trial' for £5.95 and they took the £75 out of my account 4 days after. i am now fighting to get my money back. No luck so far!!! Be careful!!

I ordered the "free trials" on 22 Aug, received them on 24/25 Aug (I can't remember now exactly). 5 Sep saw £74.95 taken out of my account, 9 Sep saw £79.99 go, 14 Sep saw £59.00 disappear, and - lo and behold - another £74.95 on 27 Sep. Hardly abiding by their T&Cs, is it? By the way - no sign of any further products - WHAT a surprise! Needless to say, I have cancelled and received confirmatory emails. To my great surprise the telephone numbers do work!
I ordered these products on 9/9/11 and a few days later had a confirmation e mail advising my 'account' had been opened and the first months SUPPLY was on its way !! I immediately e mailed back cancelling the products advising them that I had not asked for an 'account' to be opened nor had I asked for a monthly SUPPLY of these products ONLY a free sample. they responded within a day or so saying 'account' was closed and orders cancelled.
On the 13/9/11 the 2x discounted package costs (£5.90) were taken from my card/bank. On the 26/9/11 to my surprise the creams were delivered. My concern now is, after reading this site, am I supposed to return the products??? I have just checked my bank and no further money has been deducted, and I have confirmation from both companies that the 'account' is closed and order cancelled !!!
What should I do ?????
Dashpat, i'd say hang on to them - they didn't have to send the products out after you cancelled! BUT keep an eye on your account! What do others think?
This week on Tuesday morning just before going to work I saw these offers and decided to order both free samples, as sleepy as I was I didn`t notice that "extra" bit in the bottom that makes you automatically their customer!
After work I started to look more information about these product and by accident I found this forum here and reading this post I got so shocked and straight away I sent them e-mails to cancel my orders. I got a reply quite quickly that said that they were very busy and they would look into it within 48 business hours. Last night I still didn`t have any confirmation from them so I decided to call customer service, I got through and they promised to cancel my account(which I didn`t ask to open in the first place!) Stil worried to sick I went to my Lloyds TSBbank branch today and explained them my problem. They said that a lot of people have fallen in this trap exactly with the same website...Today I printed my bank statement and they have taken the postage off my bank account already...and I got a post office notice that 2 parcels have come(I wasn`t at home when they delivered) so I guess I got my trial products . The bank asked me to come back as soon as they take any more money from me and then the bank will call them directly and deal with them. What a mess!

I ordered a trial sample at a cost of around £1+ and received said package a week later. Having checked my bank account over the weekend I see they have deducted a further £79.99. Needless to say, I have not received any further products and probably won't! I have spoken to the fraud branch of my bank and they advise there is nothing they can do as, like most of us, we don't read the small print where they obviously say customers have signed up to regular deliveries. The bank say it appears the company are based in Cyprus. Their best suggestion is to get a new debit/credit card issued so that Revita Derm cannot take any further payments from your account. A salutory lesson learned!

I filled in the details for my partner, 3.95 for postage and packing, small print not readily available. product arrived, but she broke out into a rash. We gave it to a friend and she didnt get around to try it. Then 4 weeks later, I check my credit card and blow me down, a charge of £75! So much for a free trial, if then you read the small print, you find they stipluate that if you dont want to continue you have to cancel within 12 days!
Dont touch it with a barge pole! be warned!
To my horror, I find that I have a second debit on my current account (within three weeks) for £79.99. I have now lost £160 and no further products to show for it. I have changed my debit card though the account number is the same so that was no solution. I now have no option but to get a new bank account number. I have contacted the company by e-mail but unsurprisingly, there has been no response.
Do not touch this company! I did not do the free trial but paid for one pot. The cream made me itchy and my face red. Another pot arrived today and when I rang the company they said I had entered a contract for one pot a month at a cost of over £79. They do not sell single pots. If you buy once they keep your credit card details and charge you every month when they send another pot. They have said they will refund me the second amount and cancel my contract but I do not trust them. When I said I would change my credit card details then they said that if I did I would not receive the refund. Still want to try this cream?!!
Do not think of touching this product. If you order even one pot they will charge you £80 every month for another. They do not sell pots singly. This is in the small print. They store your credit card details and deduct the amount monthly. After lengthy discussion they have agreed to cancel my contract (which I did not know I had) and refund the second amount of £80. I said that I was going to have to change my credit card number but they said that, if I did, I would not receive the refund. Still want the cream which, incidentally, made my face red and itchy with very dry patches.
This is a scam- like others here I paid for the free trial two weeks later a charge of 90.05 Euro was taken from my credit card. Rang credit card company they told me what I had signed up to -they put me through to Revita Derm who wouldnt entertain refund or anything else told me it was all in the small print. My account is cancelled now but Im still worried about further transactions. My advice is dont sign up- read the small print- and stay away.
Dont send for Revitaderm unless your willing to lose your money. I thought I was smart enough to not fall for companies like these. How wrong was I. Remember nothing if for free.
Although I was a sucker for this scam, and had £74 deducted from my bank account, I have managed to telephone them on +448081683685, spoke to "Nicky" who cancelled any further debits from my account, and sent an email to confirm. But I'm not holding my breath. And I hate to say it, but the serum and cream are fantastic!!
Just before Xmas I started to fill out the online form for a free trial of Perfect Radiance. When I got to the bit that said I would be sent further packages at a cost of £74 I decided to go no further as I was never going to pay that price. However 'Perfect Radiance' had already got my phone number and I was telephoned by an extremely persuasive American Lady who told me I had nothing to lose by trying out this amazing serum for the cost of p & P. She said as soon as the serum arrived I could telephone the support number and cancel any further orders in time so nothing further would be charged to my account. Whilst she was on the phone, I telephoned the helpline from my mobile to make sure it was a genuine number and someone answered at the other end. I was persuaded to try the serum which duly arrived on 23rd Dec. When I called the phone number to cancel it, a recorded message said that the company was closed for the holiday. I panicked a bit but made a note to call the day after Christmas. To my surprise, the 'office' was open and I spoke to a Chinese lady who was very officious and asked for my email address in order to close the account. She misunderstood a letter in my name and kept saying there was no record of the account. By now, I had read the reviews about the company and was very worried. I went ballistic and said that of course she had my email details as I had received a confirmation email from them before. Eventually we realised that she had my name wrong and she brought up my details. She said she would cancel the account and a confirmation email would be sent within 12 hours. She also asked me if I would be interested in continuing if I was given a 50% discount. I said no although I do actually like the serum. I don't know exactly what it is, but in the week that I have been using it, my skin is very moisturised and it leaves a lovely sheen on your face in the morning when you put it on. I now have 2 confirmation emails saying no more money will be taken from my account. I have phoned my credit card co. to check that I have only been charged for the postage £2.95 which is correct, and they have made a note that I have warned them about this company should they take any more money. I will keep an eye out, but I have no reason to think that they will as I did phone them immediately to cancel the order before they had a chance to send me any more. If I could just purchase the serum again at half price without having to commit to monthly deliveries, I would probably do it because I like the product, but I don't like the way the company operates. Incidentally, Conde nast the magazine company do the same thing here when they offer you 3 magazines for £1.00. If you don't cancel the order in time, they then charge you the full price for the remaining magazines so you have to be on the ball and remember to cancel before they take the money, so there are lots of other companies who operate in this manner.
