I have just re-read this book from the seventies which is the true story of a family of four gifted children. One was a mathematician and another was a talented pianist. I have always wondered what happened to them in adulthood - has anyone heard any more about them?

Wish I knew as well. I remember the book well. I have been thrashing around on the internet but found nothing. If you find anything post it and I will do the same.

yes - I find it amazing that one of them actually won a young pianist competition at the Festival Hall and the family appeared on a Yorkshire TV programme yet they just disappeared without trace
Hi all. An excellent book which influenced my former wife and I to raise our 4 girls in a certain way as exampled by this family. The girls all developed into fairly gifted kids. There were some troubles but all turned out well. Any info about getting hold of a copy of Michael Deakin’s documentary would be appreciated: [email protected]
