poem in sunday suppliment?

hello.. there was a poem in the sunday mails suppliment magazine on the 29th i think.


It went somthing along the line of the planet will give "one big shrug" and knock us all off..


Does any one know the name of the poem or the person who wrote it?

Hi Bertha! The poem is..There are too many...by Jenny Joseph...The poem was in the Daisy Goodwin column,and she said it was brought to mind,after losing her friend in the Tsunami...she says.."All it takes is for the earth to give "an extra strong shrug",as Jenny Joseph so aptly puts it in this poem,and dreams are changed for ever"..I thought it was very evocative myself,and thats why I remembered it!!..Lucky for you!! Enjoy.

lady who wrote "When I am old, I shall wear purple"
