When discussing the single death (so far) related to Omicron many reports say ‘dying of’ but wouldn’t ‘dying from’ be grammatically better? It certainly sounds more precise

this is the dative-ablative problem

F Ritchie Benaud in said book wrote that dative- "to or for"
ablative - "by with or from...."

here we have - is "with" or is it "from" ?

Now if it were 'with' ( but it may not be) then you could expect that the deaths would be infected with covid in the same proportion as the population - 1: 60

if it were from you wd expect the deaths to mirror the growth of deaths from covid fromm patient zero - which I thought was three weeks but they are now saying five

but this is my opinion - because we will know in two or three weeks and by then it will tooo late and we will all DDDDDIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!

that patient died WITH as boris said NOT from as said on here earlier he could have been hit by a bus died from his injuries but had omicron. no one has been reported dead from it (W H O) yet
I've yet to see in the press /tv how many have been hospitalised, this was forced down our neck with covid 19
i suppose someone wiser on here will enlighten me

Someone could die of cancer or die from cancer since "cancer" is not specific.
