These are dreadful books from a literary perspective but the first in the series was enjoyable and I liked the main character, the police detective. The grammatical errors and spelling mistakes were irritating (he was 'cagouled' in to doing something).

The series got progressively darker and gorier stretching in to the horror genre with satanism thrown in. I could stomach that.

Book 4 has left me feeling unsettled. I shall not be reading any further. Part way through the storyline takes a pause from the fictional characters and the author jumps in as himself as an investigator in to the occult sect featured in the book - The Order of 9 Angels.

If anyone else had read the series I would appreciate their opinion. I get the impression that the author is somewhat unhinged and has written the series purely to promote his own private investigations and agenda.

I can't really help because I haven't read any of them, but I wanted to say that twice recently I have abandoned books because of grammatical and spelling mistakes making them almost unreadable. The content was also very 'thin' and unconvincing. You may well be correct in your assessment - but how did he get them published in that case?
I’ve just looked up this series on amazon as I’m very familiar with Anglesey and thought they might be worth a read.
The whole series is available for free on amazon, tells you something immediately!
The reviews are also pretty scathing.
Publishers publish all sorts of stuff, or perhaps the author self published, who knows?
Well discovered Vagus. It figures. At least I charge for my short stories on Amazon (and I have had a few published). :)
Reading this, he seems to have been driven by an incident in his own life and that may indeed fuel his agenda.

Question Author
Thanks all. The author is indicating that many people in high office and with a lot of power and influence are in this satanic organisation and carrying out abhorrent and heinous crimes with knowledge that they will get away with it.
He seems to believe it.
I know it can't be true because he is still alive.
A very disturbed man, I think
Question Author
Meant to say I am sure he is self published.
