Hey; I just got my second 'answer removed' message. I must be turning into an AB undesirable.
I don't know of any verses that mention tetanus specifically. David's infant son died a lingering death. Could you mean that?
I think you will struggle because the bible, not even new versions, will use the word tetanus
That’s the baby I was talking about, Chris. I can’t think of anything else that might fit.
I must admit, Atheist, I don't recall seeing anything wrong with your removed answer - ho hum!

Ours not to reason why

2 Samuel 12 - 15-18
After Nathan had gone home, the Lord struck the child that Uriah’s wife had borne to David, and he became ill. 16 David pleaded with God for the child. He fasted and spent the nights lying in sackcloth[b] on the ground. 17 .......

18 On the seventh day the child died. David’s attendants were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they thought, “While the child was still living, he wouldn’t listen to us when we spoke to him. How can we now tell him the child is dead? He may do something desperate.”

is said to be the case. - -

Remember the protestant and roman translations have difft names for books 1-2 Kings, 1-2 Samuel = 1-4 Kings

and comes from the habit of rubbing cow pats into the childs umbilicus after birth - altho the Bible has David as a bit of a lad
