I really enjoyed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Harry Potter and other books by these authors because the stories were fun to read and imagine the characters. I don't think Pirates of the Caribbean is in book form (at least I have never come across it) but enjoyed the films...BUT I enjoyed the Harry Potter films and the original Charlie and the Chocolate factory ( but not the one with Johnny Depp in it ...because I am not overly fond of Tim Burtons films). You didn't say whether you meant the films or books!
