Bobbi, if my sister was judged by me, she'd be surrounded by angels singing Hallelujah. If I was judged by her I'd probably be run out of town with pitchforks and burning torches. We're not responsible for what out parents and siblings do, we can't choose our family.

that's what it was meant to be braniac, sorry but good old pre text is a pain at time
Not the first time that he ha been an embarrassment to Boris.
it's wrong on all levels to hold people accountable for the actions of their parents
Boris is not responsible for his parents decisions and according to the article...

"I’m in Pelion on essential business trying to Covid-proof my property in view of the upcoming letting season. I need to set up distancing measures at the property because they’re taking it very seriously here."
Question Author
bednobs especially a PM?
anyone really
There are rules for the majority, then no rules for the Johnson's/Cummings .
Question Author
disagree, when your son holds a job like being PM you think it's okay for his father to go against the rules in place?
It's 'essential' he covid-proofs his property before guests start arriving.
Unusually, I'm with Bedknobs on this one. Boris can't be held responsible for Stanley's actions, anymore than Jezza can for his brother.

(The "unusually" was meant to suggest me supporting Boris, rather that agreeing with Bedknobs. I'm sure the latter happens more frequently than the former)
lol I was just going to complain then :)
I think while Boris might privately be as annoyed as hell about his father's behaviour, there isn't much he can do about it and he shouldn't be held responsible for the actions of his father. So long as our parents are mentally competent NONE of us have any control over their actions, nor should we have.
Question Author
Mozz Jezzas brother isn't running the country though is he? My take is , he has a son who is PM and is attempting to get things right and yes, fails a lot but by the actions of his own father , has not helped him one jot
I think my 8 year old would disagree with you woofgang!
Question Author
of course he can't be held responsible but one wonders if there's ever any correspondence between them ?
I think that people have to be sensible and think about their own parents and how much control they have over their actions.
The PMs parents shouldn't have to give up their lives because of their childs chosen profession.
I agree it isn't helping Boris one jot, but I still say that Boris can't be held responsible for another adult's actions, even his own fathers.
I feel the same about Stanley Johnson as I do about Piers Corbyn: don't blame people for what other family members get up to.
