At that age an Argo s catalogue can be fun, no worries if little hands shred it and she can point to things , to be named that she recognises
Rowan that works. We gave ours old catalogues to look at, they had hours of fun with them.

Argos catalogue, LOL, should i save those in case my toilet rolls run out? Thank you rowanwitch
The mr men books are great but the stories are quite long. I would suggest anything by Julia Donaldson, lovely illustration and rhyming stories
yes they are lovely books...
We started ours with 'Ant and Bee' do they still exist I wonder, not forgetting, kind dog.
Question Author
Right, seems like Mr Men is mainly for 3-4 yr olds to learn emotion controls, but worth buying in advance anyways. Quite fancy Oliver Jeffers and Julia's style so far.
Question Author
Aha, thank you Khandro. and i also found zillions of lift-the-flap books...Have you tried them too?

I've just checked and I'm pleased to find that ant and bee are still going strong! User Recommendation
