Not very nice for a three year old to speak to adults in such a way, don't you think?

/// She may be only three-years-old, but Princess Charlotte showed off her confident nature with a cheeky remark as she left her brother Prince Louis' christening. ///

/// The little Princess who was walking hand-in-hand with her father Prince William after the service at the Royal Chapel at St James's Palace told waiting photographers: 'You're not coming.' ///

/// To make sure her point was understood she kept a watchful eye on the media pack over her shoulder to ensure everyone remained in
place. ///

I think its fine.
And this is NEWS !!
correctly according to who AOG?
Children have a different place in society now than they did when you were a child. Who can say if the olden days were correct and today is wrong, or the other way round. It's just how it is.
You really have it in for them, don't you?

Would you allow your children to speak to adults in such a way?
Young children aren't aware of the finer points of good manners. They say it as they see it – and Charlotte knew the photographers weren’t coming. It made me laugh.
Cheeky little..... she is going to be fun when she grows up
aog, it isn't a case of allowing children to speak to adults in such a way. Children of that age don't ask if they're allowed to say whatever is on their mind - they just say it.
Charlotte was just telling the truth.

Fine by me.

to journalists? Of course.
Another sour post from you, AOG....

Any mother can give you many instances of when their well-brought up and polite child/ren has suddenly issued forth a comment so surprisingly startling as to make you want the ground to open up underneath you...

.......but this wasn't one of them!

AOG i'm not sure i'd want to bawl her out while the world was watching because then it would give people more ammunition to to critcise my parenting skills i suppose. Parenting is difficult enough without being made to feel inadequate about your parenting skills i guess. she's only 3 and children do not tend to have a filter between what they see and what they say. For all we know, they might have spanked her when she got home
3 year olds dont have a "stop and think before you speak" mode. It just comes out exactly as they see it. Generally they get better as they get older, but when they are really old that mode switches off. A little like her great grandpa.

They could shoot paps for all I care, scum of the earth :/
Like Great Auntie Anne.....
A mildly amusing & truthful comment from a 3-yr old. What is the world coming to?
Is that all ?
I thought she'd at least have been singing, "I'm the king of the swingers, ..." as she left.
You can't correct a child until they actually do something that needs correcting. That's how they learn.

My kids are very polite but they have said some very embarrassing things.
