Who was Who was the character in the Dandy or Beano who was always ill and when he went to the cupboard for some medicine and opened the door all the bottles fell out on top of him?

I Remember Studying A Book For A Level English Literature In The Early 80's. All I Can Remember We Is That The Heroine Was Called Fanny. It Was A Prior Piece. I Think It Involved A Journey And It Was Quite Funny. But I Cannot Remember The The Title????

Hello Mama, no , that wasn't the one I meant. The one I recall was a fat chap, maybe with glasses. It would have been in the early 1950's.
