she is 77, but does look a little unusual for her age. But she loves what she does and is an individual who likes to look the way she does so good luck to her. Her knowledge of dance music is pretty good for a 77 year old
Indeedio
She has parlayed a standard DJ career (albeit ground-breaking as the first woman on Radio One) into a life as a ground-breaking dance music legend - she is wonderful!
She knows her stuff no denying.
HD TV is our enemy as we age.
... But!
She's looking like a female John Cooper Clarke. Men can just about get away with it ...
Bit shallow, I have to say. She's a DJ, not a model.
It is isn't it. And knowing you ... online ... you're not are you.
I'm expecting that anagram looks the same as forty years ago?
None of us do ginge, but jeez!!
She's 77? She can "look " whatever way she likes.

I wasn't denigrating her in any way. I was just amazed at how she looked.
I missed it. Has anyone got a link please?
google annie, GM, she can look however she wants, as can lots of us mere mortals

flipping heck, ~Andy!! 77, since when did she get to grown up?!!
I thought she looked great. What was she meant to do? Wear a twin set and pearls, and have a blue rinse like older ladies of the past?
Question Author
I am an older lady, I don't wear a twin set and pearls, nor do I have a blue rinse. And I don't look as I did 40 years ago, thank the lord for that! I was merely expressing my amazement at the appearance of someone from my youth. Or am I not allowed an opinion?
what is it you're amazed about exactly?
Question Author
What was I amazed about? I think more than anything that she has gotten old. I remember her from the 70s when I was growing up and having not seen her for decades I just remembered her as she was. I know that sounds ridiculous...we all grow older, we just don't expect our heroes and heroines to get old. I do admit her dress sense was a bit weird in my opinion but that's a personal thing, each to their own and all that.
She's always been wacky, it's her way - I always forget how tiny she is.
