Little Blue Horse?

Way back in the '70's I read a children's book which I think was titled "The Little Blue Horse" ( It's not Elizabeth Goudges' "The White Horse"). I vaguely remember that the story told the adventures of a young girl, this mysterious blue horse and I think a donkey. I remember that I enjoyed it very much but when I got to the end discovered that someone had ripped out the last page. Does anyone have any idea which book it might be or an author's name?

Thanks for the link. I've just checked it out but it's not the book I'm looking for. It had a few illustrations but would have been written for an older age group than this one
AH .Ok .Thought it might not be the right one . Have you tried searching abebooks with variations on the title ?

I hadn't but I'll try now. I've been googling quite a bit without success. There are a few books with this title but I can't find the one I read. I'll do as you suggest and try a few variations - many thanks
Any chance you could be mistaking it for The Little Wooden Horse by Ursula Moray Williams?
There is one copy of a book with that title on abebooks. Unfortunately there are no details, it's not cheap, and it's in Australia!

Hi saxy_jag & heathfield. sorry for the delay in replying - my broadband connection is somewhat unreliable. It's not "The Wooden Horse" which is also a lovely book for little ones. I've sent a query to the booseller on Abe so fingers crossed. Thanks so much for all your replies - I'd really love to get to read that last page
