I read this book about 10 years ago and I can not remember the title or authors name. It's a romance novel about a young blonde woman who is living with a uncle who makes a bet and looses. The gentleman who wins the bet comes to claim her, but she runs away from her uncles house. He knows hat she looks like, but she doesn't know who is. He later finds her in a brothel being sold because she is a virgin, and purchases her. She doesn't know this is the man she is supposed to marry. He tells her he is a sea captian (I believe he uses the name Ashton, but his real name is Nicholas). He lies to her and says he knows the man she is supposed to marry, and that he works for him. She falls in love with 'Ashton', but later finds him in bed with his cousin (I think her name is Veronica) and runs away from him. Later on she finds out she is pregnant. They basically keep missing each other around the world, she is a great beauty, so men are falling all over her, but she is in love with Ashton. The end is they he finally finds her after 3 years of trying. And they live happily ever after!

Sounds like a typical Mills and Boon plot to me.

Do you guys have any idea who worte it? They have a million books to go through. I really appreciate it, thank you!
Butterfly, I think we may be at crossed purpose here. Mills and Boon is a publishing company (as per the link). Their books go out of print within months, so if this book you're looking for is one of theirs, you're unlikely to find it unless someone has an old back-edition lurking on a shelf somewhere.

I only suggested M&B because the plot you describe sounds very much like something they'd publish. I have no idea of the title or author from your description.
