The 'Latest posts' window, with only 6 items goes through and changes very quickly, is possible that one could 'rewind' and see more of the previous with something like the 'ads by Google' button ? Maybe there is already a system for doing this?

Quite a nice idea that.
I like that.
I like that idea as well. I have lost count the amount of times I have spotted a thread in "Latest Posts" whilst typing something out and then the thread disappears and I can't find it anymore.
I also like the idea and it's good to know that the Ed is in accord with us. Will be interesting to see what happens when we get the promised Site Up-date.

Ron.
Can you display the RSS feed in a box? Would that give you the result needed?
Naz.....My ignorance.....What do you mean by RSS feed in a box.?

Ron.
me too Ron, derrrr?
Yes, it would be nice if it had one of those vertical 'handles' down the right hand side so you could scan down.
boxtops.....There are at least two of us ABer's who are innocents.!! However, I think I know what Answerprancer means by having having something on the side.......Could be the answer.... But I still want to know what is RSS:-)

Ron.
I was going to explain it, but foresight has enabled me to let Chuck do it instead, lol http://www.theanswerb...s/Question889355.html
Thanks Naz for your response to me. However, clicking the small icon to which I think Chuck was referring only gives a run-down of the replies which have been given to the actual question involved. I honestly do not think that it is the answer to the issue raised by Khandro.; although, in all seriousness, I do appreciate what Answerprancer is suggesting.

Ron.
Yes, but could the same RSS 'method' be use to provide a constantly streaming 'Latest Posts' feed?
khandro's suggestion is better as the disadvantage of the RSS is the 'stalker's paradise'.....

khandro as to your message on my thread - they were not traces, the real mccoy!
I think Naz that I am now catching on to your line of thought, which could be the answer; if the Ed introduced such a facility. Question now is.....how do we persuade the Ed to take notice.? I was recently told-off by him for putting on pressure for him to respond to another ABer's suggestion.
