Can old deleted texts be recovered?

I've just joined O2's Bluebook, which backs up photos and texts to my online account. There isn't alot of info on the O2 site and the service still seems to have teething problems. Does anyone know if it's possible to retrieve deleted messages from months ago through Bluebook and save them to my account? Or is that asking for too much?

Thanks

Thanks Jolly, but I'm not looking to buy anything, enquiring about the O2 Mobile phone service, which has a back up service online called "Bluebook". I wanted to know if it can retrieve older messages and save them.
Sorry. O2 won't have your old text messages stored.

While phone companies are legally obliged (under 'anti-terrorism' legislation) to keep records of the telephone numbers called from each phone, the Data Protection Act forbids them from retaining the actual content of phone calls and text messages, unless they've been given specific authorisation to do so by the subscriber. So, while O2 can now store your texts after you've given your permission for them to do so, they won't have stored any earlier texts.

Thanks Chris, I didn't think they would be saved.
