AB Editor, it is a matter for you, of course, however it seems to me that if you are going to take the prudent action of posting specific warnings about going to the doctor's for health advice, you should consider doing the same in Money & Finance when users ask for investment advice.

are quite explicit about this but, in view of the 'extra' warnings posted on B&S and A&N, perhaps it would be worth adding something as you suggest.

I agree, and I thought there was one once.

 

Just as another consideration why aren't these 'Important Notices' written in red....That way the user would immediately be aware of them.

Currently they in black which tends to blend with the rest of the page text.

I agree with Lindy Loo, if the caveats were posted in red they would be easier to notice.

If you need it on one, you need it on all!  Some parentign suggestions, although well meaning, may cause serious issues for those involved in the problem.  H&G could see someone knocking down a load bearing wall to make a kitchen hatch (a friend of a friend actually did this!).  Clearly the majority of users will use the site as intended, including taking appropriate professional advice.  However, you have to pander to a litigious minority.

Yes, there should be warnings in every category and coloured, too.  Perhaps a number of different colours scattered round the categories would help in attracting attention.
