All the arguments that have been permeating from Chatterbank over the last few days are so amusing. Some people seem to think that this place is here for them or the users in general, how very wrong they are.
This place is a business, it's operated as one and will continue to do so, we as users mean nothing. Only numbers through the door mean anything, that way the advertisers (the bill payers) are happy and in turn the site will continue to survive.
Those who feel that the Editor will bow down to their constant demands, are seriously deluded. The Editor, will only do what's best for this site. That is, after all, what they are paid for.
So many of "The Terms of Use" are being ignored lately, but the users abusing those terms remain. Why? There can only be a few reasons, (1) The site is busy and that helps revenue, so they don't really care. (2) The Eds are busy with the site improvements and can't moderate the site as they should, or (3) The business is for sale again and user numbers will help sell it as a going concern, especially in light of the current economic crisis.
So, for those that think this place is the be all and end all of their lives. I suggest they look further and realise how so very sad they seem.

i know for one you wouldnt say or allow any child sex abuse allegations if in charge

none of what is said is libelous leg as we're all anonymous; our true IDs are unknown unless we choose to reveal them on FB/ answerbank. If you post photos of yourself you are open to abuse - but you know this already. Blame, if any, has to be on the individual who reveals all.
Most of the abuse is disgusting and ill-founded. But hitting out at grief for the loss of a child; or a lady's looks is cowardly.....but surely that was tit for tat.

This is ridiculous, and you Dabs, I thought were above posting YET another "this has to stop, we're all more intelligent than that" post.
The truth is, we are all human beings. But there ARE stupid people, and they do post here. Yes, we're all people, but the same reason that wouldn't stop me from making fun of morons down the pub is not going to stop me here. Truth is, this site has been taken over by complete and utter morons, who insist on posting the same laughable drivel day in and day out, and that is what drove so many people away. Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things, it's just a pity for people who wanted a fun place to interact in.
