You are conspicuous by your absence. What happened to your usual weekly blog?

I've just seen your post today in Science so you're not entirely absent, but why no recent blog? Is there not much to tell?

It's only a week since the last one. Give the guy a chance. I expect he has been busy sorting out his morning post and stuff...............like reading all the nominations for the post of the week. He has a very big decission to make.
His recent post in science shows that he is a man with more brain cells than most on here, so I wouldn't complain about him.
Keep up the good work ED, and I think it is best to have blog on a Friday. :-)

(And the usual telling off on a Monday morning, which makes me giggle a bit.)

I wasn't complaining about him daniela31, it was an observation. As you said yourself, there's been a 'usual' blog on a Monday morning. All the previous Eds have started off with regular blogs and they've slowly dropped off until they became a rarity. I'd just like to see the Ed continue his regular blog. I'm sure you're probably right and he's just busy and I agree that he seems to be blessed in the grey matter department.

I havn't submitted one myself, but have read some of the ones who think they are going to win, but the posts are not all that good.
