http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Adverts/Questio n463645-9.html The thread's author wrote the following about me

"THECORBYLOON- Don't invite me what to read. What to read you self-important wan..r your dictionary has obviously been written by an ignorant ****** like yourself "

I posted "You're the one who has the hump wi Cliff Richard, no-one else. It just seems odd that you even thought about a connexion wi the McCann case and Cliff Richard. You also want an end to the advertising of tourism to Portugal, penalising an industry because of the so-called failings of the nation's police force. I suggest you keep yir foul mouth shut before it gets you in trouble wi the AB Editor."

Now, the option to report the post was not available when I was posting and it still isn't. The thread's author was profane and abusive nothing is done about it and the report option was removed. I gave him some sensible advice and it gets Banned (NOT removed.)

1 Why was the report option removed when it is obvious to a blind person that the post is inappropriate?

2 Will this be brought to the attention of the person who removed the report option?

3 Was ma post Banned because it mentioned the AB Editor?

4 Will it be re-instated?

Lol, he's (she's?) special aren't they? They were extremely abusive to me too, in the end I gave up trying to get my point across as they were obviously so self opinionated it was falling on deaf ears.

Think the trick is TCL is just to stay away from them and in particular that thread.
yeah that was one nasty piece of work on there, was determined to have the absolute last word - completely insane

I object to being penalized when I am the innocent party.
I know what you mean. I posted about major Formula 1 personalities appearing in walk-on parts in TV dramas, e.g. how would Ron Dennis play Madame Defarge (this being after I had spotted Ross Brawn in a small butler part in Pride and Prejudice). Guess what ? - Banned. Possibly because Madame Defarge would hardly be a walk-on part, she's fairly central until Alain Prost shoots her.
you didn't miss it Legend, you replied on it ( I think!)

I don't understand why you think you're being penalised TCL? The option to report isn't there for any of us. Granted he/she are more abusive to you than everyone else, but that's only because you're like a dog with a bone and won't let it go ;-)
I think we have probably all had innocent posts banned, I remember complaining about mine not so long ago too

Question Author
B00 it was MA post that was banned not the thread's author
Ahhh right- i see- sorry TCL, didn't read your post correctly.

Part of my answer still stands though, ignore 'em, you know they aren't going to give in and be swayed from their odd views on that topic and us.
Question Author
B00, "thrawn" is ma middle name.
Pondering a wee bit more the noo, maybe it's because you keep writing in Scottish, very laudable trying to keep a dead language alive, but don't you think in a modern world we should be writing my rather than ma, we rather than wir ?
-- answer removed --
whiffey we dont all say 'the noo' all the time

you do that in every scotsperson's post
Question Author
If I were writting in Latin, I'd agree wi you but I'm not. By the way, "wir" means "our" not "we."
And i agree with you, that it's obviously someone who's intent it is to wind us up, and they've certainly got to TCL here. lol.

Whiffey- what on earth has dialect got to do with this question? Are you just picking holes just for the sake of being *obtuse?

*word of the day loo roll
Question Author
"writing" even...
If you were writing in Latin I'd expect you to be throwing armies against bulwarks admirably fortified by both man and nature, or describing sea serpents. Fancy having 'our' begin with a w, it's a nonsense. You're lucky we ran the trains up there. Scots above us, French below us, Welsh to the left of us, it's impossible.

the noo
....and here we are Whiffey.....'Stuck in the middle, with you' .
