To the editor:
Please stop banning members because they are knowledgable and able to answer five questions in three minutes or is it three questions in five minutes? Whichever it is it is ridiculous.
Surely the purpose of Q & A is to have questions answered. Why should it matter to you how many answers are given in whatever space of time?
The two most recent bannings were of highly respected members on the Q & A site. Actually both gentlemen, it would seem to me, would never intentionally break any rules or upset other members.
Perhaps it is time for this particular rule to be put in the recycle bin and then deleted with the delete key being held down for the offending three/five minutes.
As I said on my posting on Q & A, "We are all adults and able to monitor ourselves" - (should the need arise).
Think about it and you may realize how insane this particular ruling actually is.
Thank you.

when you see the rubbish in body and soul you wonder what is going on when two fine abers get banned for answering questions
is that not what this site is about????????
jan
multiple fast postings suggest spam, which the AB robots are at pains to keep out. The solution: slow down, chill out, stop and smell the flowers.
. . . but the flowers have all wilted in the time it is taking to reinstate innocent members.
Ont-ice .. thanks so much for your assistance with my reincarnation .. I have now been released from captivity, and will shortly be invading the shrubbery once more in search of the weekend rewards.
Long live the "Freefallers"?

Best wishes (S) ☺☺
the site is better served by wider participation - 'quick-draw' Abers should avoid giving the impression that 'to answer' is a race ....

The quality of the answer - explanation and helpful references - may be just as important to a Questioner
Question Author
Lector The two gentlemen in question are not guilty of the 'quick draw' syndrome.
Both of them usually post the explanations for their answers, particularly if a cryptic question is involved. This is also very very true of Kayakamina who was suspended recently under the same silly rule.
If you read the threads on this nonsense you will note that Aquagility was not banned for answering questions as at that point he hadn't even begun to answer questions - so no 'quick draw' involved there.
Quality answers are always given by these three gentlemen. Please don't take my word for it, check back on some of their answers.
