What is going on here?!

Someone is methodically removing my posts.

I had 2 banned a couple nights ago, and another just now.

I can't find which ones are gone. I looked through all the questions I have answered in the past 2 weeks, and none of them have the lovely "this post is banned" sign. The only reason I know they're gone is because my number of removed posts has gone up.

I emailed the ed with no response (surprise surprise) but I would like to know which posts were removed and why. Shouldn't they at least show as removed in my profile?

drestie I wouldn't worry about it, my answers removed has been going up on a virtually daily basis, I don't remember being rude to anybody,but some people seem to get a kick out of banning things, so you aren't on your own.

I believe if an entire thread is removed then your answers on it will count as being removed but the question will no longer appear on your profile.

Hi drestie - we have no idea what's happening either...our entire 'home' was wiped as we slept last week & we've had no explanation. It didn't show in my profile at first but did later appear as banned. I think your missing posts may have vanished along with us.

If someone is on a zapping spree the techs will know who it is & should be sorting the matter....& letting us know what has happened....PLEASE.

(cue the 'high horse lecturers' about chat :o) )

The site has gone so far downhill that it is failing on all counts. There is no moderation or administration. It will eventually lose all the people that supply good answers and who are the backbone of the site. Until BOO takes over as editor I see no hope whatsoever.

Thanks for all you comments. I couldn't agree more.

All I can say is that I am baffled and not very happy with the way things are being done here. My posting frequency has decreased a lot since a few months ago, and I know the same is true of many people who have been posting on this site for years.

I don't even know what to say about why hateful and/or sexually explicit posts/threads are allowed to stay while all of our harmless stuff gets pulled.

I'm fumming and have written several emails to ed and the techies... with links as according to techies yesterday my account was active... yes dears.

I was actually present as another AB got banned within seconds, I know they were banned cause they were on an old thread of mine laughing at the fact I was banned.

Some of my posts are being removed too and I can't find which ones either. I feel that I am wasting my time making a reply to find its removed (goes off into corner to mutter to herself looking in the mirror)
