Why do so many of the Have Your Say questions not have mutually exclusive answers?

Take the current one: I shred everything, I also never disclose PINs and I put the shredded paper in the bin. So how do I select 3 of the 4 answers? Vote 3 times?

This is the third time amongst recent HYS where I've noticed my answer(s) would be more than one of the options given.

I don't think it really matters does it? If you select "never disclose my PIN", they aren't about to come and look through your bin for your bank statements.
Ooooo I dunno kerplunk they now know where most of us live....................

;-)
I agree, Catso

I shred all paperwork (name+add) and all of that, plus any bills, receipts (credit/debit cards) goes into the compost bin. Neither do I disclose or write down my pin.

3 out of 4, in my case too.
This question is too hard can we have a dumbed down version in B&S please
'they' seem to get it wrong with every poll they do! either the answers aren't mutually exclusive or the question is only open to a section of the AB population.

remember the recent one about going to university? it was "what puts you off going to university?" - that question was only open to people who a) haven't been to university, b) would like to go to university and c) have been put off going to university.

come on AB! sort it out!
Blimey! Does it matter, I mean...really??

It's a little poll, if it applies to you, vote, if it doesn't- well don't. It's not rocket science for heavens sake!

Yes, OK, it's only a bit of fun, but it's just as easy to make it a meaningful poll as a fundamentally flawed one.
Ahhhh but it's the flaws that make us love it so much..........

Ok, I'll get me coat.........

:-(
you just sit down and finish your mug of laptop soochong, B00... If you don't like the poll, it's not compulsory, and there are no prizes so you're not being financially disadvantaged by not entering... But if you absolutely must tick a box, why not make a count of all the times you perform each of the specified actions over a week, say, and enter the one you do most often.
But jno, I get paid for answering the polls, doesn't everybody????
just a couple of luncheon vouchers that ran out in 1972, neti; guess they didn't like my answers
