Ryanair baggage allowance: the new 15kg rule

On 1st November Ryanair reduces their free baggage allowance down to 15kg per person. There is only me travelling, and I have paid extra for 2 items of baggage to be checked in. Here's the question:

(1) Does that mean I can take 2 bags at 15kg each?
(2) Or can I take 1 bag at 30kg?
(3) Or can I still only take 15kg no matter how many bags I pay extra for?

Can anyone answer this 15kg rule?

ps. I have already checked their website, but it doesn't answer my question, and I've spent an hour waiting on the phone, without any luck.
Here's the link: http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/faqs.php?sect=b ag&quest=checkedbaggageallowance

Any clarification would be a great help! Thanks!

Your free baggage allowance is 15kg. You then pay a baggage handling fee per case. So as I understand it you have paid for 2 items of hold baggage which must not exceed 15kg between them.

Sorry Dassie, can I just clarify again..

Does this mean the extra fees I have paid for checking-in several bags is only a charge for "putting multiple items in the hold", and has nothing to do with weight?

So it makes no difference how many bags I pay for?
If I put all_my_luggage on a scale, and the total weight is over the 15kg limit, I have to pay extra anyway?

<sigh>
Correct. The fees you pay are per bag BUT the total weight must not exceed 15kg. You do of course have a cabin bag allowance of 10kg. Now unless your suitcase is large and you are taking 2 or more weeks clothes from my experience you'll probably find 15 kg in one bag will be sufficient combined with 10 kg cabin baggage. What Ryanair are trying to do is to get passengers to take less checked baggage so they can ensure quick turn-arounds as the planes aren't earning money whilst they sit on the airport tarmac.

Bah! I'm going for at least 1month.
I suppose it will work out cheaper to buy my clothes when I get abroad, and then just post them home at the end of it.
Thanks for the answer!
