've been called "sick", "moron", "warped", "horrible", amongst other things. This was because I posted comments about cats and dogs that some people didn't like. Whatever you do, DON'T post anything detremental to cats and dogs. You can post what you like about anything else, and people won't be as offended. But oh no no no no no no no, not about the beloved.
I just love this web site! :o)

I'm no expert but if you asked me I would say it looked like a cross between a labrador and a collie. Is that possible? Anyway, 3 years later, we married, and the dog, with the original name of Rex, came with us. Three years further on, Rex became ill. He was having fits, during which he would bite his tongue, leaving blood and excrement everywhere. The vet said the treatment (tablets) would cost roughly £30 pw. Back in those days, it was a hell of a lot of money. Anyway, Rex improved and had no fits for another 2 months. Then he started again. This time when I took him to the vets, Mrs Clarion and I agreed that he might not be coming home, and she said a tearful goodbye to Rex (she still has his photo in our bedroom!). I have to say, he never looked healthier or livelier and was really well behaved but sure enough, the vet said that Rex would only get worse and he recommended that he be put to sleep. Bearing in mind what Mrs Clarion had said, I agreed. The cost was £5. I don't know what it would be now. However, I wasn't aware beforehand but I was required to hold Rex down, as flat as possible on the table, whilst the vet administered the killer dose. I did this with great apprehension. The vet inserted the syringe into his front left paw and started injecting a clear fluid. Rex was very calm and looked up at me, and as the syringe was merely half empty, he let out a groan and flopped lifeless in my arms. It was all over for him. Could you have done that? It didn't go quite the way I thought it would, as I thought I would just leave him with the vet and he would do the rest. Animals eh? Don't you just love 'em?
Not quite sure why your dog had to be held 'flat' but yes I have done that, as have most animal owners, (although we always have the vet call at the house if we need to have a dog euthanised, less stressful for the dog, they generally just inject into their front leg whatever position it's lying in). I'm failing to see the point of your post when you repeatedly advocate being unpleasant to animals, that's what people don't like. One act of normal behaviour doesn't counteract all the nasty stuff you post about animals.
