My upright Dyson is getting a bit unwieldy for me now and reluctantly Ive decided I'll have to have a lighter cordless. Can I have some feedback as to which is best value for a good job? Thankyou in anticipation of some helpful advice.

According to Which, the best ones are by Bosch and Dyson
I have a Dyson which I really like. If you put cordless vacuum cleaners in the search box (top right) there are a few threads on this
We have a Dyson Animal. It is brilliant but only as a back-up to our regular Dyson. It has limited battery capacity. Definitely recommended.
As DSJ says the dyson animal cordless is brilliant but 25 minute battery power means its really only used in between proper cleans
blimey islay, do you live in a mansion. I have 2 hairy dogs and a cAT AND 25 MINS OF HOOVERING WOULD BE MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR A PROPER CLEAN1
2 dogs 4 cats and a 5 bedroom 4 reception house.
Not sure its classed as a mansion I believe the correct terminology is Gentleman's residence - ;-)
We've got the Dyson Animal, it's brilliant. It's only used on the tiled and wooden floors so I'm not sure how it good it would be on a nice shagpile.
As 237SJ has said.....the only ones worth having are Dyson and Bosch. I wouldn't have anything other than one of the Dyson range.
