Latest Google Chrome "improvements"

Since the latest improvements to Chrome when I open a new tab I get a Google screen with the 8 most frequently used sites underneath.
Can anyone please tell me how I can change the New Tab screen to show my Home Page? Yes I know I can click on the "House" icon but I'd like a "one-click" solution.

Short answer is that you can't without an add on, you could set the start up option to open multiple tabs all to your homepage, there are a few add ons listed here http://developers.slashdot.org/story/14/02/22/2217242/chrome-33-nixes-option-to-fall-back-to-old-new-tab-page but, to me, adding an extension to remove one mouse click seems overkill...
