R1 theres somewhere in tools/options of something where you can check a box to show images..... it could be this... sorry thats vague i havent used IE for years....... and of course it might not even be that at all

Lots of folk get lots of problems with IE.

Why not use Firefox which is the choice of most (if not all) the Technical experts who answer questions in AB.

I'm no expert (far from one) so I can only suggest you give Firefox a try. You can retain IE, as I have, and just use it if you should have a problem with Firefox. You just make Firefox the 'default' browser after you have downloaded it.... for free.:-
