Last seen near Peterborough, LB.
Thank you melv. Got everything crossed for this beautiful lady.
Well done that man David Ball for managing to collect a sample of the feathers. If the cold weather and snow comes early, as is being predicted, the bird will perhaps feel more at home and stay. When I saw the headline "bearded vulture" I though it was going to be about Richard Branson.
She was seen for a couple of days about 15 miles from here as the crow (or bearded vulture) flies.

I understand she was last seen over London so perhaps she's heading home.
I referred to it as a she which was what I thought I'd read somewhere. Now I'm not sure, unless BM has also seen it somewhere or assumed I was right?
Saw it on News at eEn last night, what an impressive sight it was with its seven foot wingspan.
Brilliant melv thank you, we do have a lady then;-). I shall keep coming back and referring to your link.
