She was wingercising earlier. I love seeing that.

Yes I have been watching her today. She's picked at her feet, preened her feathers as well as wingercising. Any idea when she's due to fledge?

No, LB. I don't know when she will fledge. A week maybe? It won't be too long and then she will be gone.

It was funny today when the mum brought in some food. They kept snatching it off each other. The chick wanted to feed herself but the mum insisted on feeding her. It was quite a squabble.

Been a tough year at the nests I've been watching (LG) and Springwatch was so sad when the Jay took the beautiful baby Blackcaps. Oh well nature in tooth and claw as they say.

Yes let's hear it for the Hobby. That's one I've never seen when birdwatching.
