The ospreys will be heading back to the UK this month.

Hopefully not long until the Loch of the Lowes birds return too - here's a table of previous years' return dates, it could be only three weeks to go. Fingers very crossed! http://blogs.scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk/osprey/

At Rutland they are expected around 20th onwards. Though I've gone for a slightly earlier date. It'll be good to see them back, especially the lowes female.
We can but hope, milvius, for a staggering 22nd year, I believe!

Ospreys are back at Rutland now. 03 has returned to site B and the usual unringed female is back at the Manton Bay webcam nest.
