Lovely birds - not here in Warwickshire yet (were some last Feb) - had redwings in garden too when snow was thickest

Saw 3 last Year in Bangor, North Wales, my first sighting ever and they are beautiful Birds !
Hoping to see more this Year all being well
Hoping Rowanwitch will see some this Year as she has never seen any !
Checked some of the twitching sites and there are sightings over most of the uk in the last few days shaping up to be a waxwing winter mostly in the north and east as you'd expect...
Saw them arrive in Warwickshire last November (17th) Spectacular - and impeccable timing!!

No sightings for over a week now. Looks like they've buGGered-off into Wales:-(
I saw a flock of them in my garden in Birmingham 20-odd years ago - such a treat!

We were awash with them last year in Sheffield. You've got to careful looking through binoculars in a built-up area though;-)
