How long do they live for in your experience, the internet says all different kinds of ages.

I was only gone for a couple of hours this morning.
Noooo - I was on last night about 10pm and your profile was coming up Banned, there was lots of speculation about what had happened to you. I wasn't on this morning, went to work early, it was defo last night!

I watch telly at that time of night i'm not normally on here then.
It all depends on how good the water quality is that they live in and the temperature, but 2 - 4 years seems to be average. The odd one can last a lot longer though.

ahhh ok thanks the internet said anything from one to five years depending on what site you said. I thought cold water fish were hard to keep healthy. Apart from the begining when my goldfish started going black but soon healed they've been fine.
