Bird song

There's a bird which sings in our pear tree just in front of our bedroom window on a morning but I don't know what it is. It's a repetitve song quite long and seems to end in 'versary'
Anybody got a clue what it is?

Thank you so much for this website. I think the bird I can hear is a chaffinch. As is said on the site there's a dialect depending on the area they're from so this 'versary' must be the Parisian dialect...
It could well be a Partridge, as in Partridge in a Pear Tree
