How old is your *********?
I definitely wouldn't put a budgie with it, its far too small and would probably end up being bullied.
Lovebirds aren't a great idea either because they need to be kept in pairs so your bird wouldn't benefit anyway.

To be honest, putting another ********* in wouldn't be a disaster - those kind of birds don't usually breed unless they have a nesting box and if you get eggs then you can just dispose of them (as horrid as that sounds!).

Agree totally with everything AshBee said. If you must have another bird, another c0ckatiel is the best option.

If your bird is a pet and talks it is quite probable that it will stop or talk less when a cage mate is added.

I don't know who told you it is 65 for sexing. You can get it done here for only 13 with minimum stress to your bird.
c0katiels are notorious bullies to other birds. If urs has a companion they will chat with each other....whereas if its alone it will listen & chat to you and will learn tunes & words from you.
