I have a Jack Russell, and am thinking of buying a puppy. Are there any breeds that don't mix well with Jack Russells?

He is good with adults and children, but can be a bit snappy with other dogs.

Ok folks, now I am going to get slated yet again. If your dog is snappy with other dogs, then I would either sort that out first, or not get another dog, rather than worry what other breeds don't mix well. Its not a case of breeds not mixing it is dogs being correctly trained and socialised so that they do mix well.
is a irish jack russel a real dog?
Lankeela is right.....a dog doesn't need another dog for company. It's better off alone and boss of its own territory.

The only other dog it may tolerate is a bitch. Or the opposite sex dog to what you have.

Watch Dog Whisperer on digi-box. Lots of tips on 'socialising' ur dog.
