You know at the end of Notting Hill when Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts (can't remember their character names!) are sitting on a park bench? Does anyone know where that is? Was in London last weekend and had a wander around Portobello Road/Notting Hill but didn't know where it was - or even if it exists in Notting Hill !!!

but there are lots of private parks there you can't get into or even see into
I can't say specifically, but look at an A-Z and you will see several private communal gardens around Kensington Park Road, Ladbroke Square, Stanley Gardens, Stanley Crescent, Arundal Gardens etc.

From inside them, the scenery all looks pretty much the same to be honest. If I dusted off the DVD I could probably tell you precisely. At a guess, I'd say the one behind (south of) Arundal Gardens.

Have a look at this site, they seem to have all the answers for locations used in the film

They say it is Rosmead Gardens, Rosmead Road, W11
Behind Elgin Crescent. Yup I'd go with that, well found!
